Title: "Mars Volcanism: An Unexpected Complexity"

Abstract: This last decade, rover observations and martian meteorites revealed unexpected complex volcanic processes. Thought to be similar to the oceanic crust on Earth, the composition of the martian crust is now questioned, having similarities to terrestrial continents. This talk will review volcanic materials identified by the Curiosity rover and from spacecrafts orbiting around Mars. The formation of the complex martian crust will be discussed.
